My History
From the first time I saw a drawing of Superman I have been fascinated with anatomy and the depiction of the human form. Eventually I discovered paintings of the Old Masters such as Michelangelo, Tintoretto, Titian, Leonardo, Rubens, and many others, and from then on I was hooked. After much study, I now understand that the craft of Oil Painting is something that can be learned; yet the works of the Old Masters still seem like magic and their images of the human form are so technically perfect I will always be in awe of their knowledge and skill. Having been a bodybuilder in my earlier years I still love the sport and keep up with it through the various muscle magazines which give me infinite anatomical references. Although I'm retired from my nine to five job, my quest for technical perfection and understanding of Oil Painting and Drawing are a lifelong and fascinating journey I undertake everyday.
My Collection
